I’m not a terrorist, neither are many Palestinian families like mine that became refugees in 1948 and 1967.  I’m an activist and a visual artist that wants to build a community of and for justice in the US and the Middle East. My dream is to return to a peaceful Palestine and walk with other refugees who know deep down in their hearts it is their only home.

My art challenges the dominant narrative that dehumanizes people and communities. It also reflects and documents an oppressed Palestinian majority’s love of life and stories of ethnic cleansing. I enjoy painting with watercolors the most.
